More details later, but Hipster Howie's Buckeye Lake Jam - 2008 was a huge success. Each year more and more music lovers come to the Lake to say goodbye to Summer and hello to Fall while enjoying 3+ hours of rock, blues and jazz! New this year was the dixieland/hot jazz set. In my humble and probably conservative estimation, at least 250 people heard the set, a mini Novelaires Reunion, if you will. Coming soon - a full report with photos! Click here for photos!

Hope to see you soon. Come enjoy the sounds!

NEW CD FROM JOHN SHERIDAN

John Sheridan, Dream Band, "Easy as it gets" CD

John Sheridan's Dream Band: Easy As It Gets Featuring Rebecca Kilgore. This is the fourth CD by the Dream Band and their finest so far. For your enjoyment, this CD offers not only jazz and dance music laden with hot solos, subtle arranged passages and exuberant collective improvisation, but also some lovely tender ballads. John's piano playing is, as always,  impeccable and Ms. Kilgore has the voice of an angel.

John Sheridan & New Orleans - That's Our Home CD

Featuring Bob Barnard, John Sheridan, and Don Vickery. In the wake of Hurricane Katrina and its disastrous effect upon the livelihoods and health of the New Orleans community, a percentage of the sales from this recording will be passed on to the NEW ORLEANS MUSICIANS CLINIC (NOMC)
